Welcome to my Mind

As someone who loves talking about themself (I'm an August leo), I am finding it hard to figure out what to put in this bio.
I am an experienced social media coordinator who grew up in the age of "planking", the rise & fall of Vine, and the creation of the "digital creator profession." I also managed my first Instagram account at the age of 13...yes, it was a One Direction fan account.
Now, I can sit here and talk about the classes I took, the organizations I was a part of, and the jobs I've had but that is what my CV is for.
My name is Jessica, but I go by Jess. I grew up in a tiny town in Ohio surrounded by corn and closed-minded people. As I grew up, I felt out of place in this town. I was (still am) an outspoken plucky 5'4" girl who most definitely has small man syndrome. Through therapy and maturity, I've learned to turn my opinions and fight into a passion.
I throw all of myself into my passions whether that be marketing, copywriting, social media, dance, teaching, One Direction, or the perfect color of blue.
Finding passion in my work is what I strive to do all my life. I can't wait to see what the world holds for me. Join me on this journey.
Welcome to my mind.

YoY Social Analytics - 2022

Social Media year-over-year comparison.

“Writing, or at least good writing, is an outgrowth of that urge to use language to communicate complex ideas and experiences between people. And that’s true whether you’re reading Shakespeare or bad vampire fiction—reading is always an act of empathy. It’s always an imagining of what it’s like to be someone else.”
